REGNE Day One Video

REGNE is a new boutique that opened its doors at 425 S. Mill Ave. #108, right next to Bobby Fresh yesterday. I slid through with my new camera and got some shots of Ali, his partner, brother and first customers.True story: their very first sale was to the insurance adjustor investigating the woman who fell (?) off the railing at Hooters last week.

Watching the clips in the editing process, it kind of looks like parts were acted out, but it was all fly-on-the-wall style. I’m still getting used to manual focusing on the Canon 550D, and need to eliminate shake (everything was handheld, obvs.), but this camera is amazing. I used a rented 50mm f1.8 lens to enhance DOF.
